While the Schools Attuned
Program does not actually award CEUs, we do provide the documentation required
so you may submit it to your school district or other appropriate awarding
entity. It's up to that entity (i.e., school district, state DOE, college,
etc.) to designate how the CEUs can be used as they relate to meeting reading,
math requirements, or any other requirements set by the state.
Your Schools Attuned Certificate of Completion can serve as documentation of
your satisfaction of Schools Attuned Program requisites. If you require
additional verification--i.e., a letter setting forth the number of contact
hours involved in the Program--you should either get in touch with your
facilitator (if you have contact information for him or her) or email us at
sa@allkindsofminds.org to request assistance, being sure to provide the
first and last names under which you participated in your course and your All
Kinds of Minds Membership # (it begins with a "z-") if you have it.
We are very encouraged by the large number of school districts, departments of
education, and colleges offering credits for attending the Schools Attuned
Program. Please be aware, however, that Schools Attuned is not universally
recognized as a continuing education course, and receiving credit for it is
different for each state. Awarding of CEUs is dependent upon the requirements
of your particular school board, school district, your state department of
education, or the college in question.
For more information about state professional development policies, you will
need to contact your local district or state agency. You may be interested in

responsible for making updates to this document and it is provided for
information purposes only.
