The content will focus on innovative assessment and management strategies for school-aged children using neurodevelopmental constructs: (1) attention, (2) memory, (3) language, (4) neuromotor function, (5) temporal-sequential ordering, (6) spatial ordering, (7) higher order cognition, and (8) social cognition. All participants will be presented with a conceptual model of development and learning, innovative assessment strategies that link the results from direct testing to family and school history, and strategies to help clinicians manage a child’s unique profile of strengths and weaknesses. Sessions also will be available for clinicians who primarily screen for learning difficulties and challenges.
