Re: Success is a Vitamin Posted: 28 Sep 2006 09:54 AM |
| I have helped my three children find success in their life despite learning issues by focusing on their strengths and making them stronger. This has helped them to be more self-confident and optimistic thinkers which in turn has contributed to more successes. We didn't over focus on their weaknesses just did what we could to help them deal with their weaknesses. My son deals with his hyperactivity by making sure he gets thirty minutes everyday of physical exercise. This involvement with physical activity has also helped his "on task" performance. I have developed journals to help bring out children's goals and strengths which I have used with my children. I have seen the positive results. Robin Schafer(Masterful Kids) |

| As a mom of three children, success is possible for kids. You don't have to pay hundreds of dollars with tutors. Just get kids to set goals and be positive thinkers. My son followed this advice to make a very competitive sport team. View www.masterfulkids.com for answers. Robin Schafer |
