


Forsyth Country Day School (FCDS,) located just outside Winston-Salem, NC, is a co-ed, college-preparatory, independent school for Junior Pre-Kindergarten through grade 12 students. In a challenging and engaging academic environment, the school is committed to providing the instruction, experiences, and support necessary to develop fully the intellectual, creative, social, and physical potential of each student.
One of seven Professional Development Providers (PDP) licensed by the All Kinds of Minds Institute to deliver the Schools Attuned Program, Forsyth Country Day offers the Schools Attuned Program to educators in the public, private, and parochial sectors in North Carolina (excluding public school educators served by the North Carolina State Initiative,) South Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia. Since becoming a Professional Development Provider in 2003, well over 1,000 educators have experienced the Schools Attuned Program through Forsyth Country Day, including the entire faculty of the school.
Tuition for the course ranges $1,400-$1,600 (depending on delivery model), which covers program materials (including a copy of Dr. Mel Levine’s A Mind at a Time,) 35 hours of Core Course instruction, approximately 10 hours of follow-up “Schools Attuned in Practice” instruction, and membership in the Schools Attuned Networked Learning Community. Upon completion of all course requirements, participants receive a Certificate of Completion from Schools Attuned.
